Prenups

Nobody enters a loving partnership with the idea that someday it may end, but sometimes, one of both parties may wish to ring-fence pre-acquired wealth so that a gift or inheritance is not affected.

A ‘prenup’ is a contract drawn up between a couple before they get married, using a solicitor. It details all the assets, debts and income of each individual and together and states exactly how these will be distributed should the relationship break down and the couple divorce.
